about

Not much to say about this really. . . originally recorded sometime in the 80's in Bill and Nick's house in Peckham, in an upstairs bedroom with a whacking great hole in the floor where the floorboards were falling through. Had to be careful not to go all Wakeman on the ol' synths. They were wobbling enough on the ironing board is it was!
Had a lot of fun pretending to be Jerry Goldsmith and getting Heather to chant some whispery words for me, in emulation of The Omen score... yum!

about

Jim Mortimore UK

I've been writing music since I was very young, having abandoned piano lessons for a Casio VL Tone and two reel2reel tape recorders. Delia Derbyshire, Karlheinz Stockhausen and Jerry Goldsmith are among my muses. ... more
